New balls please

The bowling alley has been doing some refurbishment work so we haven’t bowled on Monday nights for a couple of weeks. It appears they’ve bought new balls as well, they were nice and shiny, no chunks taken out of them and neatly arranged. My turn not to bowl this week so it was a social evening for me instead.
Apparently today is world cocktail day so we’re having a small Cuba Libre with malt loaf for supper!!
