Bright Flower

I found this bright red poppy amongst all the rain and gloom this morning..fortunately it was sheltered and hadn’t got soggy. There was no wind so I experimented with the camera focus stack feature (called Post Focus). It basically records a very short movie clip, moving focus around the scene and then you can extract some individual frames to use in the stacking software - Photoshop in this case. I used 12 frames from the 46 available!!

Needless to say I didn’t walk so far today - just a couple of miles.

More rain this afternoon….ho hum!!
