Fab (five)

This afternoon we ate at 40 Dean Street. Today is our second time there this month. I went for the steak, which was lovely, but I kept thinking of the gnocchi I had last time. Once again, they brought out a dessert with Happy Birthday written on it for E. We had a lovely afternoon. It's been quite a while since we met, and there has been a lot of catch-up. Afterwards, we all, except R, were heading to The Crazy Coqs for The Beatles night, but we had time to kill. We found a small pub, just next to the Piccadilly Theatre, with upstairs seating available. We had a quick drink before crossing the road for the cabaret.

The Beatles show was sold out, and it was excellent. The others had never been and thoroughly enjoyed it, and the rest of the crowd was very much in the mood, which always makes for a great atmosphere. As it was E's birthday, MRP got the players to sing Happy Birthday: unlike last week, he checked if there was more than one birthday first.
