Hook, Line & Sinker

M and I went to our U3A AGM meeting this morning. Not the most exciting and eagerly anticipated event of the year you would think.

However, Once the AGM was over we were treated to a most interesting talk by Norfolk Chef-Patron of Morston Hall, Galton Blackiston.

Galton not only entertained us all with stories of his childhood and his career but he brought along enough freshly made custard tart for over 80 people. Needless to say, it was creamy and delicious with the thinnest pastry.

At the end of the talk he was signing copies of his latest cookbook, Hook, Line & Sinker.

It would have been rude not to purchase one.
