Rain (still) stops play

Last year we applied for - and were granted planning permission to add a porch to the front of the house. we've had issued with the decking on the balcony, so that's being replaced at the same time. I secured a builder, and agreed that work would start at the beginning of April - as April & May are notoriously the driest two months up here. Foundations sone, walls built, new door ordered. Now we're waiting for 2 - 3 days of totally dry weather to strip the roof off the balcony and replace the timber decking. With the weather we're getting now, it's starting to look like a job for 2025! Really starting to p*** us off, we'd love to see it done and be able to sit on the balcony of an evening.
