Emerging poppy

Graham had his long awaited operation on his bladder today, it’s been cancelled three times for various reasons so it’s a great relief it’s happened at last. It meant that I spent all day at home waiting for the call to go and get him. As it happened despite him being at the hospital at 7.30 am, his surgery wasn’t until 12 and I didn’t get ‘the call’ until 4. Given all that my blip is of the garden and poppies again! This time of one just emerging and slowly unfurling in the rain this morning.A pink one is in extras.
