Full Frame Blackcap

Another lovely day wandering around RSPB Ham Wall. We got up at five and we were on the site by seven! The dawn chorus was still singing out, albeit we must have missed the best of it - can't be helped, it's a way down the motorway...

This Blackcap was one of the symphonists, and regaled us from a low branch. I'm really happy with the capture because it's an uncropped full frame and his beady eye is a delight!

However, it was a tough call, and I'm dropping an extra in of an indeterminate number of grass snakes that were sunbathing in the rock-filled gabions of the bridge support on the main track in to the site. We counted four, possibly more, but I think there are only two here.
