I am the honeysuckle - where are the bees?

After seeing so many bees flying about the other day there are none visible today.

This honeysuckle plant is growing out of the bole of a long dead tree which also plays host to a rowan. We hang some of our bird feeders from the rowan's branches as the dense foliage at this time of year provides perfect cover for young birds at risk of predation from sparrowhawks and cats.
