Nessie

We arrived at Culzean nice and early knowing that it would get very busy later on.

Not particularly warm when we arrived and although the sun was shining we opted to have our coffee inside. Fortified we headed off to the swan pond but as we made our way along the woodland path which isn't too far from the sea there was a distinct change in the weather as the mist rolled in ..... glad that I still had my jacket on.

This willow sculpture of the Loch Ness Monster has a fine spot near the edge of the pond so it was quite easily spotted in the misty conditions

By the time we got back to the car the mist was left behind and the temp was 25°C .....much too hot for me! I'm sure that an early afternoon arrival would be glad of our parking space
