St. Elvan's

The weekly shop was done early this morning as our brass band (City of Bristol) was performing at a music festival being held in the impressive St. Elvan's church in Aberdare, South Wales. We played alongside our Musical Director's other band (Lewis Merthyr) with a programme centred on music from The Lord of Rings. Tdhe finale include a 70-strong male voice choir, female soloist and grand piano. The combined sound was pretty exhilarating.
