Pecking at the food

I took a lot of my daughter's stuff to her new place in Sydenham today. C and J were also visiting her from Kent. We all went to nearby Mayo Park for something to eat. They do excellent bacon butties there, which I again enjoyed. We'd finished eating when a young starling decided to help themselves to the crumbs. The plumage was iridescent in the sun and the bird was not at all worried to be so near to us - it must be very used to human contact.
