Working for Lunch

Lunch for the ride followed a route through Chateauneuf du Pape and Bedouin. There was a long steady climb on the road you can see in the distance, and this photo shows a similarly gorgeous view to either side of the ridge, where a picnic was set up.

Bright and sometimes overcast, a good combination to travel in. Clear skies towards the end of the day reminded us how quickly we can get hot!

My turn to ride tomorrow. Avignon to Apt with a restaurant lunch in Venasque.
