A post for posterity

The brand new A and E department at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary will open at one minute past midnight tonight. There’s a lot of activity around the hospital changing signage and road markings - the new A and E entrance is very close to our house so the road will always be kept clear of snow in the winter!

The old department has been the scene of many a visit - bumped heads, sprained ankles, bike accidents, broken limbs and all the other adventures that come with small children. I hope I don’t have to avail myself of the new facilities.
