Saturday 4 July 2009: Almost salad
Today we are going to explore some of the beauty of the Garden Route with our visitors.
We love to show them Victoria Bay, Herold's Bay, Map of Africa at Wilderness, then go over the Outeniqua Mountains on the old gravel road of Montagu Pass.
And if time allows we'll take the road to Oudtshoorn, up the Swartberg Mountains, as the top of this mountain range provides spectacular views of the valley below.
On our return home, we'll have a late Sunday dinner and this lovely ripe pineapple will become part of a salad. It is usually as sweet and tasty as it looks!
