De Punt (Brouwersdam)

The Delta Works is a series of construction projects in the southwest of the Netherlands to protect a large area of land around the Rhine - Maas - Schelde delta from the sea. The Brouwersdam is the seventh construction of the Delta Works. By closing the Brouwersdam the lake Grevelingmeer is created which is now used for recreation.

The wooden scots were used to keep the concrete caissons afloat and then put in place to close the dam.
