Monday 6 July 2009: Rained off?
"Bella, I'm sorry, I don't think we'll make it to the zoo - it's pouring with rain."

So we did, and watched the black clouds circle the city, crash against the Pentlands and soak the Forth. But in the middle, the animals and us stayed dry.
