Perth Farmers market - no zombies

This church is the site of a Farmers' Market in Perth - a wonderful collection of produce of all sorts.

The church is rather sad, being built by basically slave labour, by boys from 5-16 brought out from England as "orphans" although many of them weren't and made to work on the building.

On a lighter note, apparently gerberas can protect you from zombies - a little known fact!!

really needs to be large to see the honey eater and the zombie notice! (thanks serpentine)

And the kangaroo paw near the old plough (again in my sister's surprisingly small back yard) is being used as a takeaway by a honey eater.
