Monks Wood

Very hot walk around Monks Wood today with the Big Bloke, the Little Ginger Boy and the crazy hound. Bit upset that my favourite wild flower meadow has been turned into bales before I had a chance to capture it on film. Maybe next year. Still plenty of beautiful, flat Lincolnshire scenery to snap away at though.

In other news the First Test was won in exciting circumstances which greatly pleased the Big Bloke and the Sporty Boy, who were at Trent Bridge yesterday, living the dream. I was just grateful for a cricket free afternoon.

Even the Little Ginger Boy, who hates all sport with a passion, went up to the village courts for a game of tennis this morning. I think the world is still turning on its axis but it's a close run thing.
