a moment of hilarity...

We woke to thick mist this morning.

We went to Glengarriff to meet up with my daughter and her intended in the appointed woodland glade to finalise arrangements for the wedding ceremony. It's all coming together, music chosen, ceremony written, vows decided on, exact place settled on. Then the who does what, and the timing of it all came under lively discussion, and finally we did a practise run on the photographs. We tried out various locations and situations, by the river, under trees, and then half way up a leaning tree. This is her trying to get down again and imagining doing it in the dress....

Later our grandson came home with us for to stay over, the first time for ages. We spent the afternoon on the beach and the evening in the garden.

The mist did eventually burn off and sunshine resumed, but it was a bit cooler.
