Remembering the Andes

Saturday Diane and I flew to Colorado to see Brandi Carlile perform at Red Rocks. Brandi is one of our favorite performers and the chance to see her at Red Rocks Amphitheater , a beautiful outdoor venue, was an amazing opportunity. Even though we had to deal with some rain in the early evening, the sky cleared and the concert was one of the best we have ever attended.

Before the concert, we had dinner with Stephanie and Cliff in Morrison, CO. Stephanie and Cliff, pictured above, were part of our group that hiked in the Andes to Machu Picchu a year ago. Hiking together for a week builds very strong bonds and it was wonderful having the time to catch up.
