Common Knapweed

I thought it was a thistle at first, but wanting to know what type of thistle it is I looked it up and found out that it's a knapweed instead!

I found my lakeside walk a little warm, so am back home in the shade.

I hope to catch up on a few journals and photos now I'm back from my hols.
