Lunch

Off today and into London to say goodbye to Grandmama - the last day of her epic holiday, and she had a few hours to kill before her train home. So it was only polite to take her to a favourite London restaurant for lunch, the marvellous Galvin Bistro De Luxe on Baker Street.

Gazpacho for starter, Barnsley Chop for main, and a naughty but nice chocolate pot for pud, washed down with a caraffe of French white wine. There's something very civilised about having a leisurely lunch out on a day off.

Then upto Euston and said my goodbyes. You'll hear about her fantastic trip when she finally gets back and back-blips!

I'm off to rub ibroprofen gel on my newly gammy and suddenly achey knee.... brilliant....
