If you take a walk through any long grass at the moment, there's a fair chance you'll disturb some tiny grass moths. In flight they're quite noticeable, but when they return to the grass they are trickier to spot. There are many different species, but I think this one is Agriphila tristella.

We've had cloud for most of the day, and the cooler temperatures have been a bit of a relief, although it would be to have the sunshine back.

Last night's gig excursion was great fun, I'd recommend the two acts: Kirsty McGee and Cole Stacey & Joseph O'Keefe should they come to your neighbourhood.
