Preparedness

More hand watering today, it pains me to suck the Mississippi dry but it would pain me more if a plant was to die. I could do all gravel and cacti next year but then we would probably have the wettest summer ever and it would all rot. Plants really are so specific about what they want, aren't they?

Related to the ongoing project: if you take on something you have never done before, you must be prepared for disappointment. Prepared for it is different than expecting it. Expecting it is inviting it. That I believe.
