Sunday 12 July 2009: Huevos Rancheros
My friend Sean is originally from Santa Barbara, California, but he's been around the block once or twice. He's worked as ground crew on an aircraft carrier and in Alaska as a deep sea fisherman. Somewhere along the way he lost half a right pinkie.
Love brought him to rainy Scotland. Fatherhood has kept him here.
I know he misses the weather, excitement and cheap photographic equipment of home, but if he was there I wouldn't have all the inside gen at Leuchars every year and I wouldn't have had Huevos Rancheros for breakfast this morning.
