Pond Fever

Today I went for an afternoon walk with the intention of blipping the beautiful foxgloves in the woods at Mugdock. I took a number of woodland pictures but, as I was leaving by Craigend Pond I came across these children excitedly fishing at the water's edge. It so reminded me of a zillion years ago when catching sticklebacks in a jam jar made my day!

I loved the little red shoes and have placed them in a strong position in the composite, along with the pail of fish. I was informed that the afternoon's catch would be dutifully returned to the pond before the homeward journey!
