Yerwood Center Dream Golf Outing

After all the weeks of effort outside of work and music, the work paid off. We had our Dream Golf Outing.

It was wonderful having Vanessa Gidden come to the lunch with some of the kids. She only talked for 1-2 minutes as her students each wanted to say something, of their own volition. Vanessa then presented Mayor Pavia with a signed tee-shirt from all the Basketball Campers. The Center, one of Stamford's oldest and most important institutions of its kind in the city, seeks to empower kids and help them dream that everything is possible. The event was a success and a lot of funds were raised.

My guitar was part of a set of raffle prizes. The guitar went to a Mum whose son is starting lessons on Monday but who didn't have a guitar. I couldn't have been happier and have offered a Skype session if he wants to jam sometime.
