A Day Worth Recording

Barcoded

backblip

Today we swapped hilly moors for hilly woodland, walking around Ludlow itself before heading back. The route signage left something to be desired and we became 'temporarily uncertain of position' once or twice, however, it was a pleasant walk. I'd guess the locals know paths that were less 'track'y.

At one point we passed these trees. I jokingly suggested the banding looked like barcodes - but I'm increasingly of the opinion that's exactly what they are.

No idea why - I mean you're not exactly going to pick one up and take it to the checkout, are you?

Any suggestions out there? Blipculture usually obliges.

Edit: It has. Blast has quickly identified it as an art installation by Phillippa Lawrence.

Then the long trip back. It's fine from Birmingham, but west of there the roads are not really designed for getting east-west at any speed.
