Small Tortoiseshell

I went out for a cycle before tea this evening and went down a very nice country lane which had lots of butterflies and bees flying around. There were lots of white butterflies, I'm not totally sure on what type they were, and there were some of these Small Tortoiseshell butterflies flitting around. I managed to see this one land on a thistle and sun itself long enough for me to get my camera. I also saw quite a few Bonking Beetles as seen in this blip from last week. You can also see some on the thistle in this blip along with a nearly camouflaged fly .
