Mound

A busy day with the girls. To-ing and fro-ing from the city farm in the morning with volunteering shenanigans and then into town in the afternoon to the National Gallery (otherwise known as The One On The Mound) for this summer's children's arts and crafts extravaganza, Staycation.

Great fun, plus I met a pal of mine who works for the galleries as well. Not seen her for ages, Helen if you're reading this it was lovely to bump into you!

And then we dillied and dallied, shillied and shallied our way home with a few stops along the way for cake, playground, swans and the like, getting home well after all the commuters along the canal had long since passed us by. A great time. A tiring time. All that art, it's exhausting...
