Albertosaurus

I visited the Australian Fossil and Mineral Museum at Bathurst today. In the "dinosaur" gallery there are two very large free-standing skeletons among a host of smaller ones. There is a Tyrannosaurus Rex from Montana, USA and this one from Alberta in Canada which is an "Albertosaurus". This skeleton is very much like that of the TRex except that it is only about a third of the other's size. There is no doubt in my mind that this thing fed on meat and lots of it.
