Work in progress

I haven't worked in oils or done a portrait for ages, so I was delighted when this young lady agreed to have hers done.

It's very much a work in progress - and as usual I'm trying to sneak one in to fit the challenges.:

A belated Art for DDW
The ear ring needs some thought for heartfreek
and the Hair needs attention for terrig's musical challenge - although the young lady in the picture did ask me to "lose the dark roots"...

I've also got to lose a lot of that blue! "Too piercin', man" (for those of a certain age)
