Lucan parish Pump

Recently people have asked us to have their intentions reflected in the pump they pay for. In most cases it's in memory of a loved one, but like this one in Doroba our local parish made a donation.
Ann Keating who works with a youth Ministry encouraged the parish to send two girls, Megan and Eleana, to look at our mission in Malawi in preference to going to Rio, to meet Pope Francis and they, all three, were amazing.
Sadly the girls missed this pump installation, but they were remembered in the hymns and prayers of the gathered villagers.
This pump is about six metres deep and will serve over 300 people.
We continued on to install three more pumps today. Happy faces all around
