I met Ian in Wakefield, where we spent a long slow morning walking and talking our way north to Stanley Ferry. All work should be like this- joyous, friendly and relaxed. I filmed, we talked and the results will premiere at the South Bank, in the Royal Festival Hall, on National Poetry Day.
