Down by the water

I set off early for an appointment in Littleborough so I had time to have a walk up the canal talking photos. Of course sods law meant that this was the time of day when it clouded over, it is beautifully sunny now. So most of my shots were just boring fields and trees and a bit of flat water in the middle, not even a duck or goose in sight. I did like the reflections in this one though.

Off to see Pacific Rim this evening, which seemed like a standard summer sci-fi blockbuster from the trailers but it's directed by Guillermo del Toro of Pan's Labyrinth fame, so it should be good.
