Police Box, Newbattle Terrace

I spent the day walking around and taking photographs of textures, objects, pavement cracks, for material to use in some illustrations. I got quite a few strange looks. This is part of a police box on Newbattle Terrace, near the Dominion cinema.

Quite a few businesses have popped up in ex police boxes, one of my favourites is the Bollywood in Bruntsfield which comes complete with roof garden. After a bit of internet trawling I've discovered that buying a box would set you back £4,000-£6,000 and legally you have to paint it 'non-police blue'. I wonder what you could rent it for in the festival?!
