White Tailed Bumblebee

I took a macro lens with me this morning when I walked the dogs because yesterday there were lots of butterflies on the thistles. It was a little cooler this morning so not many butterflies but there were plenty of bees around. Most of the photos were either out of focus or the focal plane was in the wrong place but this one of a white tailed bumblebee with proboscis extended was in focus.
There were lots of red tailed bumblebees around as well.
