Cheep Cheep But In Need Of Reform

I thought I was going to be able to get a great photo of the Bombers (fire brigade) flying overhead on their way from the River Ebro to where there's a fire burning fiercely at one end of the Parc Natural Dels Ports. But no such luck as the two planes kept changing which route they used and only came over us once... and I missed it!

While I was waiting with the camera I decided to take some shots of this. It's a very battered bird box in one of the pine trees, put up by the previous owner... possibly so they could shoot the birds... so it's maybe not surprising that we've never seen a bird near it, or near any of the four or five other boxes.
