Shire Judge

Today we walked to a local farm for the Derbyshire Shire Horse Association Show We saw magnificent shires including Working Shires, Mares, Foals and Gedlings, Carriage Rides and Vintage Tractors. The horses were turned out so well with colourful ribbons etc.

There were various categories of best in show and I was fascinated by the judge, she took her job very seriously and you got the feeling that no one would dispute her decision.

Not sure if her hat won a rosette ??
