We must have been NUTS!!!!!

Had to backblip this as we went out.

We went to Chambers Farm Wood for a nice stroll & hopefully plenty of photos. Well that was the plan ....... it was spitting with rain when we arrived but the sky didn't look too ominous so we decided to take the long walk (2 & half miles) ....... that turned out to be a mistake!

We got almost half way round when the skies opened ...... luckily we had our macs with us ...... unfortunately only our very lightweight shower proof ones! Needless to say we got rather damp. I also didn't get many photos either as there was very little about!

We did see a Magpie Moth ..... a first for us .... but it flew off just as I pressed the shutter ...... so I got an empty leaf!! We also saw different moth that I have been unable to identify .... it was sheltering from the rain under a nettle leaf & yet again I couldn't get a photo ..... grrrrr!

So all in all we have had better trips out .... but at least we got some fresh air & a walk ...... some of it with some sunshine!!!
