A Tree Grows in Jerusalem

I have, since I was in school heard of the book, "A Tree Grows in Brooklyn" but never knew the story until today. This tree, like so very many in Jerusalem, grows in very harsh conditions kind of like the family represented in Brooklyn. Just thought it a fitting example of perseverance.
