Sunday 12 July 2009: what happened to yesterday
this is a back blip.
After the hot weather yesterday it was sad to awaken to the sound of heavy rain. Blipped fairly soon after waking and never really found another opportunity to use my camera again.
We kind of milled about the cottage this morning and headed down to the NethyBridge Rangers centre and again were the only family on the ranger led walk. This time we went up the river. Mel , the ranger, was great with A and R. it did stop raining for a wee while but then came on heavier towards the of the walk. But as they say 'no such thing as bad weather just bad clothes' so we were all fine in our waterproofs. The wildlife tend to keep out the way in the rain and all there was to be seen was one millipede and tons of black slugs.
