Eagle Owl

Blenheim Palace is just a short bus ride out of Oxford, and a cracking day out - especially with little ones to entertain!

We were lucky as this weekend they had a jousting tournament, preceded by puppet show and a gently compelling falconry display.

This is the Eagle Owl ‘Bo’, who in the words of falconer Michael Davie glides "with a mixture of beauty and stealth over the heads of the audience".
