One more day!

Whoop whoop! I found the fence line! I can walk under the trees and see light between the leaves! It's been a long haul. All that metal had to be cut out from the bramble stalks bit by bit. It may not be the most ecologically sound practice to burn it all but I had no alternative.

Not visible in the photo, is a new pen for the chickens which they are enjoying. It was a struggle to get the hen house over the walled ridge but now I can get on and clean the front of the garden. Thanks to Jim for his muscles. I couldn't have done that alone!.

There are more brambles to burn tomorrow but for the most part all I'm left with is a small fire, a pile of metal and a mattress to pick up. Now to get all the roots out... Mmmnnn!
