Cradock Peak

Briefly lit up by the sun and exposed by an opening in the clouds, Cradock peak has been dusted by smithereens of snow.

Perhaps nothing to write home about, but for us staying in 'sunny South Africa' - this remains magic - not talking about the chill that accompanies this occurence. Brrr!

Many roads and mountain passes in the Eastern Cape have been closed since yesterday when snow caused slippery and dangerous conditions in those parts.

Soon it will be weekend, and as usual the menfolk (and some ladies) will sit glued to the screens to watch rugby and everything else that moves, sprints, rotates, pedals, crashes, cartwheels, jumps into the air and who knows what! Enjoy!
