Prairie Splendor

I don't have a prairie, but this Echinacea or coneflower, a member of the daisy family, is rather splendid and makes another good subject for me to practise with my macro lens.

I only meant to take a few few quick shots before breakfast this morning, but before I knew it 1/2hr had gone by. Fortunately work is not too busy at the moment, so being a few minutes late was not a problem!
