The fool on the hill

Unambitious

As I was doing my blips there was a chap on the radio saying how many people confuse holiday with ambition and end up having a crap time - basically from trying too hard.
The only ambition we had was trying to avoid rain. We started thinking Pembrokeshire and then thought Norfolk would be drier: right up to the point of provisionally booking a campsite, all getting in the car and starting the engine. At that point I announced that I couldn't face driving to Stiffkey. So we all trooped back into the house, looked through the book and rang a place in Minehead, Somerset. Bad forecast but half the time to get there.
It rained all the way down and then the sun came out as soon as we started putting up the tent.
