The Heart of Zimbabwe

Another street entertainment gem tonight in the form of the Siyaya Theatre Company offering a glimpse of their superb entertainment skills on Prince's Street. I really enjoyed their performance and if I hadn't a meeting to attend this evening, I'd have bought a ticket for tonight's fringe show there and then.

I don't think the show write-up is far wrong ...

From start to finish, this celebration of southern African dance and song is driven by an energy that never lets up, from gumboot dances to rain-bringing rituals to the gorgeous harmonies of Zimbabwean reggae.
