another lucky escape

despite yesterday's deluge, it was dry enough this morning to go back and finish off the hedge we'd got rained off from (or as much of it as we'd originally intended doing, anyway). then after lunch it was drizzling but since the job was a few miles away we thought we'd better go see how the weather was there - it turned out to be fine, so an afternoon of slightly tedious maintenance (grass, deadheading, weeding) was had. then we came home and found the rain again...
