Esthwaite

My travels took me a few miles today and served up a significant contrast in surroundings.

This morning was a trip down to Marple near Stockport (just south of Manchester) and then I was back in the office in Windermere before a trip round the lake to the lovely village of Hawkshead which was a welcome change from the harsh surroundings of the day's earlier appointment.

The view over Esthwaite was quite literally a breath of fresh air, the essence of which I have failed to capture here!
